Disability
Up one level
"Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control."

Disability Awareness in Action
- Disability Awareness in Action (DAA) is an international human rights network, run for and by disabled people. The DAA web site is just one way in which we pass information and news to disabled people - and our representative organisations - around the world. Although we are delighted when disabled people from any region make use of our services and resources, DAA’s efforts are particularly focused on people in developing countries. Most of DAA’s information comes from disabled people themselves; our aim is to ensure that disabled people have access to any and all information that concerns our human and civil rights.
