What is Happening about the Pacific Plan?
You are invited to attend a meeting that will look at the themes of the
Pacific Plan and its implementation from a civil society perspective.
The theme for this year's Pacific Forum in Tonga from 24-26 October is
the implementation of the Pacific Plan. This will also be the main theme
for the Civil Society Forum to be held from 20-23 October, also held in
Tonga.
Under the guidance of PIANGO, national meetings are being set up in as
many Pacific countries as possible in July to discuss implementation of
the Pacific Plan with the aim of putting together a report and
recommendations that will get to the officials well before October. It
will also be discussed at the Civil Society forum.
Talk followed by lunch - RSVP necessary by 14th July.
