NZ music, standing-up for Tibet
Tibetan benefit gig at Bodega Bar featuring 100% New Zealand music. OdESSA, The Actualities & Date with Doom
Proceeds go to Tibetan Solidarity Network fund to raise awareness, share information and provide on-going support to essential Tibet - related activities in Wellington.
$5 entry. All welcome
OdESSA
Aside from the hundreds of acclaimed live shows, the awardwinning videos, the evergrowing army of devoted fans across the country, the setbacks and the comebacks; OdESSA have just completed their brand new second album, with stunning artwork by the formidably talented Simon Morse and Inject Design. It's called The Prize. And it's the best thing they've ever done.
The Actualities
The Actualities are three years young. The Wellington-based five piece formed at high school with a sound that is complex and difficult to pigeonhole. Their first self-titled EP was released in 2006.

Odessa never intended to play nor did they play on Saturday night at Bar Bodega as part of the gig. We deeply apologize for any confusion that may have been caused.
However the Tibetan benefit gig was a success and music from Date with Doom, the Actualities and special guests (the intended line-up) was brilliant.
Many thanks to all those who attended. We look forward to seeing you at the next event - look out for upcoming Tibet movies, information evenings and campaigns, right here on this website.
Add you name to this petition to ask the Mayor of Beijing's sister city, Kerry Prendergast Mayor of Wellington, to talk about human rights in Tibet with Chinese authorities while she attends the Olympics. http://www.wellington.govt.nz/haveyoursay/e-petitions/ep/details/38
