'Who Do Adults Think We Are?' - Discussion on the position of the Child in NZ
Speakers, questions and a panel discussion. Law, policy and practice are all reflections of how children are regarded in New Zealand. Four outstanding speakers give their perspective on the question: 'WHO DO WE ADULTS THINK WE ARE?'
by examining the intersection of attitudes, behaviour and ideals of national identity that create the social space within which the lives of New Zealand children take place. Over the course of the morning the speakers will conduct a fascinating guided tour of four different aspects of this
formative space for children.
