International Law and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict
The term "international law" is often bandied about during any discussion regarding Israel and Palestine. Many contradictory views and actions are justified in its name. Dr Graham's presentation will address the following questions:
1. What is this thing called "international law"?
2. How does it apply to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict?
3. How has it been (mis)applied historically?
4. What are Dr Graham's views on what New Zealand 's official position should be with regard to the dispute between Israelis and Palestinians?
(Admission:Gold coin supper Tony)

PS
Despite the name of our society, we haven't asked Dr Graham whether or not he is pro Palestinian or pro Israeli as we are more interested in what is international law and how it applies to the Middle East than in whether or not he could be an advocate for the Israelis or Palestinians.
